What can we cut?
We can cut complex profile out of almost any material within a 2.5m x 1.25m area in thicknesses upto 4″ or more. Below are some common matierals we work with, If you have a requirement that is not listed please dont hessitate to contact us to discuss your individual needs.
Metals – Waterjet cutting is ideal for cutting metals such as steel, aluminum, brass, and copper, among others. The process is particularly effective for materials that are thick or difficult to cut using other methods.
Composites – Composites are materials made from two or more different materials, such as carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) or glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP). Waterjet cutting can be used to cut composites with precision and without damaging the fibers.
Plastics – Waterjet cutting can cut many types of plastics, including acrylic, polycarbonate, and nylon. It’s an ideal method for cutting intricate shapes and designs.
Stone – Waterjet cutting can cut various types of stone, including granite, marble, and limestone. The process produces clean and precise cuts, making it ideal for decorative stone designs and artistic applications.
Glass – Waterjet cutting can cut glass without shattering it, making it ideal for intricate designs and shapes. It can also be used to cut tempered or laminated glass.
Ceramics – Waterjet cutting can be used to cut ceramics with precision and without causing damage to the material. It’s particularly effective for cutting complex shapes and designs.
Wood – Waterjet cutting can cut various types of wood, including hardwoods and softwoods, without causing splintering or chipping. It’s an ideal method for cutting intricate designs and shapes.
Rubber – Waterjet cutting can be used to cut rubber without causing deformation or damage to the material. It’s particularly effective for cutting gaskets and seals.
